FAQ and Aftercare
Good questions, straight answers
Everything people ask before their first appointment, plus how to look after your new tattoo.
Before you book
How do I book?
Tap Book Now and pick a consultation or a session with the artist you want. You will get a confirmation by email or text right away.
Do I need a consultation first?
For anything custom, yes. It is where your artist figures out size, placement and how many sessions it will take. Small pieces you already have a design for can often be booked straight into a session.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome when an artist has an opening. Call ahead and we will tell you who is free today.
What is your cancellation policy?
A card holds your appointment. Cancel or reschedule free with at least 72 hours notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged.
How much will my tattoo cost?
It depends on size, placement and detail. Your artist will give you a quote at your consultation, before anything is booked.
How old do I have to be?
You must be 18 or older with a valid photo ID.
Can I bring my own design?
Yes. Bring reference photos, sketches or screenshots. Your artist will use them to draw an original piece for you.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes. Start with a consultation so your artist can see the old tattoo in person and plan the new design.
What should I bring?
Your photo ID, any reference images, and something to eat and drink. Wear clothes that give easy access to the spot being tattooed.
Aftercare
Most tattoos heal on the surface in two to four weeks, and fully underneath in a few months. Your artist may give you instructions for your specific piece. Follow theirs first.
- 01 Leave the wrap onKeep the bandage on for as long as your artist tells you. Some wraps come off in a few hours, some stay on for a few days.
- 02 Wash gentlyWash with clean hands, lukewarm water and a fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Do not rub.
- 03 Moisturize lightlyApply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion two or three times a day. Too much can clog the skin and slow healing.
- 04 Let it peelFlaking and itching are normal. Do not pick or scratch, or you can pull ink out with the skin.
- 05 No soaking or sunNo pools, baths, hot tubs or tanning for about two weeks. Keep it out of direct sun, then use sunscreen once it has healed.
- 06 Ask if unsureRedness that spreads, heat or anything that worries you: message your artist. We would rather hear from you early.
